Color settings - European Settings

Hi! 

I live in Norway, Europe. By default Illustrator chooses North America General Purpose 2 as the Setting at the top in the Color Settings menu.. But which is the best to choose when I live in Europe..? Does it really matter?

    Correct answer Fjongemilla

    If your intent is to have a precise preview of colors: ask the manufacturer about their process and how to best simulate it on screen. Maybe this will be printed using spot colors. In that case printed samples will give you the best match.

     

    Usually for printing Europe Prepress 3 is a good start. Then adjust the color profiles to your needs.

    I don't know if the North America General Purpose 2 is the default, not for me and I have an English International install.

    I would choose any of the European presets when you work for European customers.

      Its for a logo that will be printed on clothes.
