Colored SVGs to (emoji) multicolor font for mobile?

I made a new set of emojis for an app and I have a hard time figuring how to make a colored font. The subject is very complex for my understanding. I'm used to uploading UI SVG icons up on platforms such as icomoon and fontastic, but I can't seem to find anything like these to generate colored fonts. What's the approach for creating a colored font for a mobile application given the fact I have all the SVGs needed?
