Colors form "Seperations Preview" to the variables

Hello there,
I can easily do many operations with javascript.
The problem I am having is that I cannot assign the colors that appear in "Seperations Preview" to the variables.
Is it possible to do this?

I wouldn't know how to do it with JavaScript, but if I use "Select all unused" in the side menu of the Swatches panel, then the ones left with the dots (plus the obvious Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black) are the spot colors which are still in use in this file. Does this help ?
