Hi all of a sudden my illustrator file i was working on turned neon, all my other files are fine. Please help!
By coincidense I experienced that as well. For me it happen with edfiles I savewhile being connected to a projector.

Please tell us your version, system and color management settings. And the details about the file, especially document color mode.
Did this happen overnight?

If this is just one file, you may have assigned a color profile unintentionally or applied an effect of saturation to the entire layer.
Try copying all and pasting into a new document. That might be easier tahtn typing out a long set of instructions to follow. If you still need help please provide a screenshot.

Hey, I thought that was the issue as well but all the assets are highly saturated no matter where i put them. I tried moving them to new files, PS,ID etc

And document color profile. Do you have multiple monitors?

Hi yes I have 2 monitors and have the standard settings. none of my other files are having this issue. I can open multiple tabs in illustrator and this is the only one with the issue. I tried going back to an old version of illustrator etc and nothing works

And moving the file to the other monitor, makes that a difference?
Can you go to your Edit > Color Settings and turn on the checkboxes for profile warnings?
Then copy the bright colored file objects, create a new file and see if you get a warning when pasting?
