I am trying to do a step and repeat where i duplicate and rotate a square at the same time. I initially duplicate it (using option + drag) then I'm using the Object Transform Each to set my parameters. But when I hit Command D, it just rotates the original object and does not create new ones. Thank you!

You could try this:

Select the square.

Object > Transform > Transform Each...

Set the Move, Rotate and other options and click the Copy button.

Use Cmd D to repeat the combined transforms.

Step & Repeat only works if it's the next move you make. If you do something else, it'll override the Command D option.

So how can I duplicate and move an object at the same time?
