Command + V and Command + C key command do not work when saving files into a folder

Question

When I upgraded to the newest version of illustrator my art team and I lost the ability to use key commands to copy (command c) and paste (command v) when saving into a folder. This is very frustrating as we are saving files in subfolders all day and now have to either type the file names manually or right click and choose "copy" and "paste." Does anyone know of a fix to this or even experience this issue. I am on the newest version of illustrator. Any help would be a god send.

@Mitch27933992l7fe can you confirm if you're using Ventura 13 or 13.1? Curious as I've had issues since updating to 13.1 simply using copy and paste in Apple notes well as saving file names in my folder management when trying to copy and paste names (not within Adobe).
