Compare text

I would be interested to find out if it is possible to do the following to some plain text (originally imported from a text file) in a text frame.

1. Import same plain text with amendments into same text field.

2. Then compare and highlight change or changes in red.

Acrobat has a compare feature… If your just wanting highlighted differences between text then I would pdf and 'go compare' there…

Thanks for the reply. I do use the acrobat compare for checking.

I'm hoping to automatically replace the old text with the amended text, perhaps highlighting the change?

If the text hasn't changed, it will be ignored.

Hope this makes more sense?
