__Constrain Angle (in Preferences) is going to 57.3 Degrees (not 0)!!

Latest version of Illustrator - several reboots - trashed preferences  - set preferences with no document open - set it to 'zero' while working, then move something (it's fine), but then seconds later - 57.3 Fr%king degrees!!

Unfortunately, I don't know how I 'got here'... it honestly just seemed to happen out of nowhere.... and in my 20 years of using Ai. I've never encountered it...

Strangely enough, the problem appears to have fixed itself now, after several reboots of my workstation and the server... weird...
