continuing to use Illustrator CS4

I am using Illustrator CS4 - yes, old I know, but I know it well and am keen to continue to use it. It runs fine on my macbook pro [high sierra] but on my desktop [also running high sierra] I get an alert telling me the licensing has stopped working. How can I resolve this?

You can't.

 

The licensing servers have been shut down. Nobody supports that anymore. As long as you do not change anything on the Macbook it will continue working.

You can't.
