Copy Changing and/or disappearing in .ai 2023

Working in .ai 2023 and updating copy in one of my files I noticed the copy appeared incorrectly (see attached). Since there is a bit of vector art in the files I thought is was possible it wasn't immediately viewable, so I went to wire frame, still not there. I moved the copy to see if again it just wasn't previewing correctly again this was not the case. The letters were simply not there. The font in question is Futura PT an Adobe font in Creative Cloud. I then opened the file in 2022 with no issues. I have noticed fonts shifting and not being centered. I have also noticed vector images being flipped. This time I screen shot my issues and believe all were related to the use of 2023. I am using the most recent updated version of 2023. I am running an iMac 2019 Intel i5 and macOS Monterey 12.5.1. I have since stopped using this version because these are critical issues and need to be addressed.

I'm sorry to hear about the issues you've been experiencing with Adobe Illustrator 2023. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

It's difficult to diagnose the problem without more information and being able to see the file you're working with. Would you mind sharing the file with us so we can investigate further?

Also, in addition to sishamIAGD suggestion, have you tried reinstalling Illustrator 2023 (v27.2) or clearing the font cache on your Mac? These steps may help resolve the font and vector image issues you've been experiencing.

In the meantime, if you need to continue working on this file, I recommend using Illustrator 2022 until the issues are resolved.

Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. Unfortunately due to client confidentiality I can not share my document.

I have reinstalled 2023 today to try and reproduce the effect from the other day, to no avail. I cleared my font cache and – as a company we changed our font management program today as well (by coincidence). So far I have seen no repeat issues.

If it does happen again, I will make sure to delete any sensitive / identifying material and send it to you.

We completely understand the confidentiality of your work, and it's okay that you cannot share your files with us. In case you encounter any similar issues in the future, you could try to replicate the issue by creating a new file with similar content. Alternatively, you could anonymize the confidential information in the file by replacing it with dummy content or obfuscating it so that you can share it with us for investigation.
