Copy paste an object from one file to another on iPad illustrator?

I can't figure out how to copy an object from one file to another on illustrator for iPad? Can anybody explain how to do this, i can't seem to find any tutorial or function to do this...

Correct answer Monika Gause

On the right side there is a scissors icon. Select your object, then tap the scissors and then tap the copy button. Switch to the other file and then again tap on the scissors and then on the clipboard (which is paste)
