COrner widjet issue

I'm facing an issue in Adobe Illustrator 2025 where the corner widget is always visible by default, and pressing Ctrl hides it—instead of showing it temporarily like in earlier versions. This change in behavior is affecting my workflow. I’d appreciate it if this could be addressed or if an option could be added to toggle the widget visibility manually as before.

Pressing Ctrl switches from one selection tool to another depending on which one you are currently using or which selection tool was active before you switched to a different tool. Which tool are you currently using when that happens?

    I've moved your post from Creative Cloud desktop to the Illustrator form.

     

    What do you mean by "widget"? Do you mean an anchor point, or something else?
