Hi,

Yes, you can also do it in the Layers panel by clicking the Selection Indicator for the object inside the Clipping group.

Your attachment did not go through. Email strips it off. You can click the attachment button in the panel window or copy and paste it in. When you select the green object, tell us what that is called in the Control or Properties panel as well.

Object > Ungroup does not work?

I'm not sure which icon you're referring to.

Hi

Ungroup is not an icon, it’s a menu item (it’s okay if you don’t know the terms).

If Ungroup is grayed out, you do not have a group selected. If you have something selected, look in the upper left of the Control panel or the upper right of Properties. What does it say that you have selected?

Dear Jane,

Thanks for trying to help me.

I noticed on the left top corner,

After selectine, i see "Clip group"

then i tried , in that 2nd option, edit contents, after clicking, i see

that it could be ungrouped but still cannot reach the state of good

selection.

All i want is change the color of those green contours.

Thanks again for the tips

Karthick

Hi

While you can release the clipping group with Object > Clipping Mask > Release, there is a better way, so don't do that.

  • Double click the clipping group to go into Isolation mode.
  • Make your changes
  • Press Escape to exit Isolation mode.
