Crash when using brushes - Illustrator 28.7.1 on macOS

what is going on with this update, after adding in custom brushes this thing just keeps crashing today was the worst. I lost 4 hours worth of work, yes I backed it up, yes the recovery file opened and guess what. IT CRASHED, then bam everything was lost, like bro what is going on. I do everything right back everything up I was even saving the file as I went but guess what "sorry file can not save" crash. I have a macbook pro M1 MAX 32gb of ram 2tb ssd, trust me when I'm wokring on these files it no issue at all, saving however omg. FIX THIS APP BRO

So this only happened after adding custom brushes?

 

Maybe you can show screenshots of the brushes and your artwork? Brushes can have a heavy impact. They are not by any chance stipple brushes? And your artwork is quite large?

these are the design lost before crash, took screen shots to send off for review, mainly custom line work for technicals and graphics, as well as some imporated images 2k by 2k 220dpi, also as I work no wheel of death and no slow down loading files. this computer will handel everything but this update lol

I would analyze the brush. 

It could be just too much for your computer (or maybe even anyone's computer)

The thing is i tried all the steps and done them correctly, I also kep my .aid files and folders in the hopes I can get these files back. As for all the gernal stuff trust me I did it all step by step. I had never had this issue prior to the past 2 dates, its horrible
