create editable social media templates for client

Hi!

I was wondering how to create editable designs for the client, so they just have to put in a photo and the right text. So they don't always have to rely on us?

I'm assuming giving them the file (and isolating photo and text on one unlocked layer) is not the answer you want...

Hi Rachel, did you ever get to the botom of this?

I also have a client (without acess to Adobe CC) who wants to take control of their own social channels by populating the templates I've created themselves.

Asking yourself and any fellow designers / agencies what software they use to create and supply editable templated files for clients to populate and publish themselves?

Maybe I am missing a trick somewhere?

Should have added - preferably without paying for more software subscriptions!

Give Adobe Express a try.

The person who designs the templates will usually have to pay for a subscription (whatever tool you use), the collaborators probably not.

But anyway: your client will then save money they usually spend on a designer. So the small amount for a solution that enables them to do their marketing should be worth it, no? I just don't get what people are expecting these days. They are expecting to earn money with the services they advertise after all.
