Create Outlines or Expand Appearance not working

After I type out my text and then hit Create Outlines or expand, I still have the bounding box around my text. It does not put points around each letter. I dont know if this is a bug or im doing something wrong.

You are sure that you are selected your text using the Selection Tool then Create Outline?!
Are you sure that after that you selected your text with the Direct Selection tool ?!

i reset my pc and its back to normal..
