Create PDF Compatible File Checked Not Working

Explorer ,
Feb 07, 2022 Feb 07, 2022

I encountered this problem after the latest Illustrator update. I'm on a iMac with Illustrator 26.0.3. When I try saving files with the "Create PDF compatible file" option on, Illustrator gives an error and the file doesn't save. This is even the case with a brand new / empty file.

I need this option because I use Illustrator-files in InDesign, so please look into this and fix it.

Kind regards, Koen Schrauwen

Where do you save the file? Try your desktop.

Try if unchecking in the Preference "Save in Background" helps.
