Create pdf with editable text on earlier versions of Illustrator

Hello, I need to create a PDF file in Illustrator 2018 with text that is editable in older versions of Illustrator (CS6 in particular). If I just save the file on Illustrator 2018 and try to open it in Illustrator CS6 the text is no longer on a single box but the individual words are divided between several boxes, making the text impossible to edit!

Why do you need to create a pdf file within Illustrator? Is the artwork originally setup in Illustrator 2018? If so, then are you performing a "Save As" and then selecting the version of Illustrator you wish to down-save to, such as CS6?
