Creating a 3D perspective of a circular shape

Hello everybody

I would some help trying to create a 3D drawing of a poker chip. I have made a vector and line drawing of it (includes several pieces grouped together) from a plan view and side view. I now need to make a version that shows it in a 3D perspective but having some trouble.

As you can see from my screenshot, I have tried the 3D bevel/etrude and plane rotation (these however rasterize it and drastically reduce image quality as well as not etruding the stroke properly.) and also tried shearing (but this does not resize the gold lines properly).

I would really like to be able to find a solution and any guidance on how I can draw this.

I have also shared the .ai file for you to play with. https://assets.adobe.com/id/urn:aaid:sc:EU:7ad0841a-6850-49a1-9b7a-1ad076fba21c?view=difile

Thank you

Gio

try the classic effect.

Effect > 3D & materials > 3C (classis)  Extrude

You could first make a symbol of the top face and make a symbol of the side and then those need to be applied as artwork to the 3D model. You file is password protected.

Hi

Yes I have tried that extrude method too but it still rastizes it to a poor quality. How do you mean apply a symbol?

Also, I do not know why there is a password on it, I did not set one. Do you know how to resolve that? It does not give an option to make a password when sharing
