Community Beginner ,
May 01, 2017 May 01, 2017

Hi there,  Has anyone had experience creating a hexagon halftone patterns like the attached image?  Any advice on ways to achieve this in illustrator would be great!  Any plugins that could achieve this?  Many thanks.

You can obtain this using Phantasm from Astute Graphics Phantasm v3 - Astute Graphics

Just need to play a little bit with the options.

And if you can't get Phantasm to work, try the app Vectoraster (Mac ony)

Thanks carlosgarro.

Do you know how to make the spaces between the hexagons equal distance?

I can't seem to level out the gap without stretching the hexagon using the Scale W/H etc.
