Creating Custom Swatch Library – Empty Library

New Here ,

Hello, I have created some patterns and I would like to make from them one swatch library (.ASE file) in Illustrator and use it when I need. When I add them to swatch palette and try to save all of them as .ase or .ai pattern to one folder and try to open them in library, there is just one pattern or nothing. Can you help me? My aim was to work with them as default Illustrator swatches and pattern libraries... Thank you very much for your answers.

You cannot save patterns in an ASE library. Only in AI libraries. There should be a warning telling you that.

So how can I export several patterns and open them in one library asi it's in Adobe default gallery – for example in the preview above – Retro Patterns.

Export the library as an AI library. Those can be edited later, since they are just AI files. Add new patterns to them.
