Creating LED neon signs

hello Im trying to figure out how to create LED neon signs with this program. I need to be able to design the image with measurement restrictions, because I can only cut the LED neon at 2in increments. I also need to be able to create the outline of the imagine so a cnc laser machine can cut it and put the appropriate holes through it. Any help would be much appreciated.

    So your issue is that you cannot create measurements? There are plugins and scripts for that.
