Creating Rounded Elongated Triangle in Illustrator CS6

Question

Image result for cabin key shape I cannot figure out how to correctly create this shape in CS6, I use rounded corners from stylize effect, but the the top and bottom corners will not stay as widely rounded as the pictured triangular shape. can anyone please help show me a method to creating this shape?

Version CS6: you will need a script or a plugin.

The script "Round any corner" should do it. http://shspage.com/aijs/en/

You could of course create a pointed rectangle and then some circles and then use the shapebuilder tool.

Or you update to Illustrator CC.
