CS6 Illustrator is slow on iMac

After getting a new serial number I finally was able to finish installation of my CS6

But now I have a new problem - I noticed that Illustrator works very slow especially in 'type mode' also other things go slow - like moving on the art board area (space + left mouse button)

Illustrator CS 6 Design Standard

Computer: iMac 5K 2017 Mojave with Radeon Pro 570 (4096 MB)

In my old iMac (2011) Illustrator worked very good.

P.S. - I already updated all CS6 programs but still the same

Any solutions?

If you want to continue using CS6 Illustrator then you may want to get a used Mac from eBay with Yosemite or earlier installed. CS6 was built for operating systems that run very differently than High Sierra or Mojave.

Just because it runs in one unsupported system, it doesnt mean it will run in another. Rather, it means you take huge risks and your luck finally ran out. Probably.

Hi Paweł,

As Andi mentioned above, for CS6 you need Mac OS X v10.6.8 or v10.7 and on some systems, it works on Mac OS X v10.8 and v10.9 as well.

CS6 applications are not compatible with MAC Mojave. I would suggest you to either upgrade the application to CC or downgrade the OS.

I was using CS6 applications on my old iMac running Sierra High 10.13.6 and it runs perfectly.
