cursor tools issue

I had issues with the cursor tool, not responding correctly, I reset perfs and now I just have just a hand cursor after restarting —help!

Is the spacebar stuck?

Can you close all other applications and then launch only Illustrator?

Im on a mac so I restarted and zapped the pram just for sake of trying all corrective measures. Started only illustrator and opened a new files everything worked perfectly. Yey when open the last file I worked on the issues returned, the file was corrupted! I recall creating a new file yesterday and it had the cursor issue. So consider this issue closed. Thank you all for your help!

Have you tried hitting your space bar to make the hand cursor go away?
