Curvature tool conflict with Draw inside mode

If a path is created by curvature tool, then when i switch to draw inside mode and try to create another path with curvature tool inside that path, it won't work. The second path just show independently under the first one. And this problem also occurs when I try to mask a curvature tool path with a normal path.

Is there any resolution for this or is there something I missed?  I'm using CC 2019. Thanks for your help!
