curvature tool, joining two different lines.

I am trying to intersect two lines drawn using the curvature tool. I cannot seem to finish the last segment on my line to land on the other line. See picture.

That is a workable solution. Just not sure why I can do it with the regular pen tool but not the curvature tool. Thanks

That's how the tool works. You could try and lock the other path. Or use the direct selection tool to move your point.

The current behaviour of the Curvature tool has been scathed a couple of times in this forum.

 

Anyway, what you can also do with the Curvature tool is to just click close to the "target" path, then hold down the left mouse key and drag the endpoint towards the path until it snaps.
