Hello! I am using actions in Illustrator to edit a big amount of images. I need trace a plenty of *.png files, and the problem is that my recorded action do not consider trace settings.
For example, these raster images need "Corner" value to be very high. I have changed trace setting and saved it as new preset, then record a new action with custom trace preferences and launched it on the folder. But in result I got all images traced with default settings, so not accurate at all.
Is there any ways to make actions see my trace preferences? If not, I think it will be extremely useful to add this feature in future version.
I searched before to do this . maybe there's a better way now ..
The only solution I could find was bizarrely, to use Adobe Bridge
Select the images and Tools > Illustrator > Image Trace.
but I could not get it to work in CC.
however I tried it on a computer with illustrator CS5 and CS5 Bridge and it
did work , it opened a pop-up and offered batch trace with custom presets available.
Some people swear live trace in CS5 works better....

Wow! It works great, thank you very much
I had to install Bridge for this method, but the program finally solve my problem.
By the way, I have CC version of Adobe products and there are not any obstacles with that.
