Designing for social media posts

I'm finding it frustrating to design in Illustrator for all of our corporate social media posts (Facebook posts and events and Instagram). I cannot seem to find a consistent size reference, nor can I seem to get the quality look I'm after once I save in a size I think is correct. For example, I'm using 1200pxx630px and saving as a .jpg for a Facebook post but when I upload that image to Facebook, the image looks fuzzy/blurry/low quality. How is everyone else creating and saving images that upload looking great?

    Raster files (such as JPEG or PNG) will always be slightly or even more than slightly fuzzy that vector images. Please read about the difference between vector and raster images, your favourite search engine will guide you.

    Maybe you find apps such as Adobe Spark easier to use than Illustrator. It handles the social media sizes and you can even set up your corporate design in it.
