Hej together,
some minutes ago I opened Illustrator and there was a logo file opened that´s not from my hand.
I´ll show a screenshot of it with this post. What is going on there, I have no idea - is it possibly work from a hacker?
I searched for the logo name and only found a youtube channel that uses this artwork.(https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOH_Uvv9tTzUEgltHZvMyyg)

Please help me anybody, I don´t feel comfortable with this.
I´ll change my passwords now, but if this is enough... I don´t know.

Thank You, Iliana

This youtube channel has 10 followers. Do you perhaps know the owner? Your spouse or your child that is using your computer without telling you?

The reason this appears immediately after launching Illustrator could be that it was the last file someone has edited, then Illustrator crashed on close and it was opened again when you launched the app in the morning.

If you didn't install any plugins then I don't know why this could happen.

A virus targeting especially Illustrator should have surfaced in this forum already.

Checking the files you download from freepik is a good idea anyway. As a Mac user I'm not fully aware of the options Windows Defender has. Only thing I know is that it has a good reputation.

Since this is not a cloud document, someone must have smuggled this onto your computer.

Are you sure your computer is not used by anybody else?

Are you in a company?

On a network?

Did you download anything? Installed something in Illustrator? Clipart?

Did you update Illustrator recently?

You are using a legally licensed version of Illustrator that you installed via Creative Cloud (downloaded from Adobe servers), right?

Hello Monika,

thank you for answering that fast. Yes, of course, it´s a legally licence via CC (single licence, no company - I´m freelancer)
Updates are currently made.

I already thought about that topic, if anybody is using my computer. I guess this is the thing I have to follow.

I don´t use plug ins for adobe software, but regularly download files from freepik.com or pixabay...

Do you have any tip for me what I could do additionally to windows defender?
I know this is less. With offers of "Norton" e.g. I did not feel better in past. Is there a kind of program that works super specialised for downloads in the range of graphic designers?

Thank you for your help!
