Hey There,

I´m not that experienced with illustrator.
Lets say you have an 3d arrow and cyrcle it and you see the "front" and the "back" at the same time, but I want to use another color for the backside as for the front. Is there an easy way of useing two colors on that object?

Thank you already for helping me with my problem 🙂

1. Add another object at the same side next to the other object and color that differntly.

2. Make a symbol of the color shape and add it to the side via Map Art, then choose the side and add the symbol.

To add to what Katie said, here's an old video about 3D effects in Illustrator that may help: http://www.jeffwitchel.net/2011/11/good-as-gold/
