Difficulty accessing other apps while using Illustrator

I'm using Illustrator 28.3 on a Mac with Sonoma 14.3.1

I had Illustrator set to fully fill the screen. I needed to access the Dock but couldn't, so I hit the Esc key and the Dock now appears when I roll to the bottom of the screen.

But now I'd like to restore Illustrator to fully fill the screen so it won't show the Dock unless I Esc.

How do I do that. The green + at upper left didn't do it.

Thanks.

Hi @j9lemmon,

Thanks for reaching out. You can try the following steps to resolve the issue:

- Go to the "Window" menu in Illustrator.  Enable the application frame.

If the above steps don't work, you can also try resetting the workspace or preferences in Illustrator:

- Go to the "Window" menu.

- Select "Workspace" and choose "Reset [Workspace Name]" to reset the current workspace.

- If resetting the workspace doesn't help, you can try resetting preferences.

Hopefully, this resolves the issue. Let me know if you need further assistance!

Best regards,

Anshul Saini
