Direct Selection tool not aligning to shape

Direct selection tool highlight does not align to the shape placement. The anchor point hovers slightly off the shape. Have restarted and updated to latest version and still have this issue. Issue occurs with every shape selected and even on new created shapes. Snap to grid is off and show edges is on. Sorry for blurry picture. I zoomed in as far as illustrator would let me. Due to this issue, I can't tell where the true placement of the shape is. Please help.

Is there a difference between GPU and CPU Preview? Cmd E or Ctrl E to switch.

OMG there is. so simple. just like that. It's fine in the CPU view. Do you know if this something that can be fixed within illustrator or is this a graphic card issue?

Good to hear that worked. GPU preview is fast but often inaccurate. Ilike the speed, but in doubt I switch temporarely to CPU. That is what is used on export and printing.
