Disable Feature Tours and Tips pop up in Illustrator

New Here ,
Sep 16, 2019 Sep 16, 2019

Hey all,

Using Illustrator 2019 (v. 23.0.6) on Windows 10 and would like to know if there's a way to disable two particular types of pop-ups that appear:

- One that appears when you import a PDF file (which autoplays a demo on how to change the color of a watermelon)

- One that appears next to the tools panel, is blue, and tells me about features I already know about.

I already checked off "Show Tool Tips" but they continue to appear.

Thanks!

Those popups should appear just once. If they reappear then that's a sign that something with your preferences is going wrong.

Hi Zack,

Sorry about this. As Monika mentioned, once they are closed they should not appear again. This has been reported by a few other users as well and our product team is looking into it. I will pass on your feedback to them and you can do that too by upvoting this issue here: https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657-illustrator-feature-requests/suggestions/36000934-fe...

This is the best way of communicating with the Engineering and Product Management teams regarding issues and suggestions so they can be implemented in future releases.

Regards,

Srishti
