disable zoom when pressing option + trackpad on MacBook

The last 2 versions of illustrator, if i'm holding down option (which i do a lot) and drag with 2 fingers on the trackpad (which i do a lot) it triggers zooming in and out. how do i turn this off

zoom with scrollwheel is deselected

and animated zoom is also deselected

i don't know where this is coming from. maybe it's a mac os thing. i just really want to turn it off

This behaviour can be turned off in the Illustrator preferences in "General"

i don't see it.

like i said "zoom with scroll wheel" is disabled. what is the setting you are refering to called?

i also have gestures disabled just to make sure.

Sorry I overread that.

Are your finger too close so they are not recognized as 2, but as one?
