Hello, I am trying to convert some eps of DIN A4 format pages with only text in pdf using Distiller, the fact is that in some eps it gives me an error.

error eps .jpg

I generate the eps from Illustrator with these options.

error eps 2.jpg

There are only two fonts, which just in case are the ones that cause the error, I outline them; still, I still get the error: %%[ Warning: PostScript error. No PDF file produced. ] %%

Why don't you just save as PDF from Illustrator?

If I want to generate a pdf with several pages, especially if the pages contain images, the file size becomes smaller if I first export to eps and then put it into Distiller (which makes it easier to share). Maybe I'm wrong and it doesn't make any sense nowadays, I learned it 10 years ago. I do it out of habit.

I am sure if you turn off Illustrator editing capabilities it will reduce the filesize a lot. And there is a lot to gain with compression settings.

Always close the file after a save as PDF to avoid continuing working in the PDF instead of the .ai file.

I agree, this is not a good way to make PDF from Illustrator. But... if you'd like an opinion on the error, please post the whole  log - you haven't included the actual error message.
