Does Adobe Fonts work with AI 18?

Does Adobe Fonts work with AI 18 running on MacBook 2015 os 10.11.6? I activate TypeKit and it connects to Adobe Fonts showing activated font from Adobe Fonts, but it doesn't show in AI character window as a selectable font.

I don’t think Adobe Fonts (nee Typekit) is compatible with your version of Illustrator. If you have Adobe Fonts you must have a CC license. If that includes Illustrator see what the latest version you can install is. You acn also contact Adobe support.

Are the Adobe Fonts available in any other Adobe programs?
