Downloading a free trial

When im trying to download the free trial it makes me send a link to my email but when i get the link and click on it it doesnt do anything.

Please describe what happens step by step.

I am trying to download the Illustrator free trial but it will not let me.

It will make me send a link to myself and I click on the link and it
