Question

Draw perpendicular arrows to a surface. These arrows are inside another surface.

Hello! Im an engineering student that likes to do illustrations for my digital notes (I have done a few for notes and presentations). Please, have mercy jaja I am far from the skills I would like to have as a graphic designer.
Please, see the image attached. I need to create a series of arrows that are encapsulated inside the area delimited by the blue line. Also note, that those arrows need to intersect with the black line (another surface inside) at an angle of 90 degrees. I have no clue if there is a special command to condition the arrows  to be perpendicular to a surface and if i could condition them a starting and end point that intersects other lines.

Thanks!

Using an Art Brush is definitely a good option. The attached screen shot shows a series of vertical lines that were applied to a curved path as an Art Brush. The arrow heads were added after the art brush's appearance was expanded. The direction on one of the arrows went the opposite direction but that's easy to fix. The vertical lines maintained a perpendicular angle along the path. This works better than the Blend effect and Replace Spline option; the lines are rotated and positioned along the path in a more unpredictable manner.
