Hello
I don't know of someone else has it the whole time aswell
but does someone know how to fix the problem where my drawings disappear as soon as i change my background to black by document settings

Like the drawing is still there but u can only see the outline when u select the drawing
Its so far only on my PC
on my laptop i have no problems at all, but on my PC the drawings keep disappearing after changing the background color through document settings

Printing on black paper with transparent inks would probably make artwork invisible.

If you want a black background, you can create a bottom layer with a black filled rectangle.

You are trying to simulate black paper. Did you turn on Overprint Preview?

Illustrator documents do not have a background color (check View > Show Transparency Grid).

Ah alright, thank you
that makes fully sense for me
I already used that with the rectangle as a alternative, but because on laptop it was easier with the setting change, i thought it would have been possible for pc aswell, so thats why i just was asking to be sure

Thank you again!
