Drawing straight, horizontal or vertical, line segments with brush tool.

Hello,

I am working on a line illustration. I am using the brush tool to do hatching and cross hatching, drawting with a Wacom board. I was wondering if there is a way to make the line segments completely horizontal or vertical. I set the fidelity of the brush to smooth, so that helps a lot with the curvature (or in this case straightness) of the line segments, but it has been difficult to make the segments just go at the same angle.

I know that using the line segment tool and holding the shift button snaps the drawn line to an angle, but in this case it would be very time consuming to use that tool, especially with the Wacom board.

You can see in this snapshot that my lines are not all the same angle.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

If you press and hold the Shift key and then draw, the brush tool keeps that angle.
