Dxf file doesn't work anymore

Hello,

I have always used a dxf file to engrave jewelry.

Now suddenly it doesn't load anymore in my program, i didn't change any settings in my illustrator.

If i try to load an older dxf file, there is no problem..

Anyone who can help please?

Hello, i have the problem since a few months, i don't know wich version it was since i have the problem.

The autocad version is 2018 when i save my file.

I understand how frustrating it must be to face issues with loading your DXF files, especially when this is something you’ve relied on for your jewelry engravings.

It looks like there were some improvements related to DXF/ DWG file handling addressed in Illustrator v29.1. Could you please update to this version and check if the issue persists? If you’re still facing the problem, could you share a DXF file that isn’t opening for you in v29.1? This will allow us to investigate further with the product team.
