Sorry to hear about your troubles with Illustrator. Can you please try creating a new document with a smaller artboard size and see if you can see the DXF format in the export options? Let me know how it goes!

having issue - cannot export dwg dxf - do not see option. scaled down to very small scale, still not working. restarted a bunch of times. just upgraded to 2024. please help this is crucial i have this export option

Restart illustrator, and make sure shift is not held down. Do you get a plugin loading error (DxfDwgFileFormat.aip) on Illustrator startup?

Right-click on the app and choose show package contents. This file should be there.

Restarted (shift was not held down) - no plugin loading error.

The DxfDwgFileFormat.aip is there

Hello,

encountered the same problem. My file is lettering for a sign that is 5280 mm long. An A4 format allows export to DXF, but my full-scale format doesn't allow it (no option in the export menu)! What is the maximum size allowed for exporting to DXF or DWG?
