Effects menu command

Hello,
Can someone explain the function of these two menu commands?
Effects>path>outline object
Effects>path>outline stroke
I'm using Iluustrator cc 27.6.1

I gone through both tutorials and both of them was explaining Effects>path>outline stroke

Can you please send me some links explainging Effects>path>outline stroke

How it works and when to use. I tried serching it on google and youtube but coudn't find anything useful.

Trust me, 1 minute of video will not be sufficient. 

 

Would you also watch 5 or even 10 minutes or would I waste my time doing that?
