Embed Images Turn Yellow When Opening Saved File

Question

Hi-

I seem to be having an issue where my embeded link(s) are becoming broken after a file save. I mostly work off a server- is this issue caused by a faulty save? I have attached a photo of what seems to be happening- any help is appreciated! I have blacked out the info that cannot be shown. This image shows one image that linked and stayed in the document and the other image is clearly lost/corrupted.

It is possible that the issue is due to working from a networked drive. It is recommended that you work from your local hard drive. Here's more information:Illustrator support for networks and removable media
