Empty panel on Illustrator open

I have a tiny, almost minimised to the point of not being able to see it, empty panel that is in the centre of the screen every time I launch Illustrator. All panels that should be there are there and populated, this is an extra empty one that is just there on launch. I'm assuming that it is a result of the new customisation functions, but I was wondering if anyone has any idea of how to stop it happening?

Same issue here 😞

When I open the empty panel a white background appears, I click with the right button and it appears this.

After I click on the view page source a code appears in the notepad:

<!DOCTYPE html><html lang="en"><head>
	<meta charset="UTF-8">
	<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0">
	<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="ie=edge">

	<script src="../js/CSInterface.js"></script>
</head>

<body>
	<script src="../js/main.js"></script>

</body></html>

Just to let anyone know who was interested in this old thread, yes I contacted support, and as often is the case they could not help. I gave up in the end and just close the little empty panel every time I open the app - annoying, but I'm guessing it's another little "improvement" to the software. I also did NOT mark this as answered, as it wasn't. Adobe covering up no doubt... "problem, what problem... move along, nothing to see here".

What happens when you open a file or create a new one?

Hello there.

I have the same issue. It started a few months ago. It occurs when starting a new document and when opening an existing file.

I've had the issue oocur on three different computers (all running Windows 10 Pro) within the last couple of months of Illustrator releases.
