End User's Adobe Illustrator crashes frequently

Hi there,

One of our users is unable to use the Adobe Illustrator app for more than a couple minutes until it crashes with the following error message:

I'd appreciate it if this could be looked into quickly as this user uses Adobe Illustrator for the bulk of their work.

Thanks for reaching out. Based on your query, one of your end users is experiencing frequent crashes in Illustrator. I recommend following the troubleshooting steps below.

 

Update Illustrator and Creative Cloud
Open the Creative Cloud desktop app.
Go to Updates and install any available updates for Illustrator and Creative Cloud.

 

Reset Illustrator Preferences
Corrupted preferences can cause crashes. Reset by holding Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Windows) or Cmd+Option+Shift (Mac) while launching Illustrator. When prompted, confirm to delete preferences. Check the following doc: https://adobe.ly/46RQ8S2

 

Run as Administrator
Sometimes permission issues cause repeated crashes. Try running Illustrator as an administrator.

 

Update Graphics Drivers
