Envelope Distort and letter density

When using the 'Envelope Distort' > 'Make with Top Object' tool to fit text to a shape, how can you control the letter density to position them the way you want ?

Could you perhaps show a screenshot so that it gets clearer what you are referring to with the density of the letters? Thank you.

yes, of course. the "density" is where the letters are agglomerate. I already tried the 'Mesh' tool, but it doesn't give me the same letter density effect as it does here. Do you know how I can adjust that density, for example to make it more concentrated at the top of the shape?

You need to move the mesh grid lines around until it works.
