Envelope distortion text problems

So my issue is rather simple, when double clicking on warped text it brings up a text box that allows you to edit the text. these boxes ahve been getting in the way of my project, is there any way to get rid of these?

Do you want to switch between Edit Envelope and Content? You can do so in the Object > Envelope Distort menu.

Are you using envelopes or are you using a warp effect in the Effects menu?

Either way, if you do not need the live type object anymore, you can expand the envelope or expand the appearance in the Object menu.
