EPS file pixeled

Hello

I sent some zipped eps files to a client, and they downloaded an eps viewer to view them. They are concerned because they said that the images look pixelated. They are concerned that if they enlarge the image the pixelation would only get worse. Any suggestions?

I suppose you know about the limits of the EPS file format? Just in case you have used certain (raster-based) effects, transparency and the like, there will be pixels in the file.

But most probably it's the viewer.

Does it really need to be an EPS?

You can send them a PDF, which will work for most of the cases where people ask for EPS files. Only rarely you still need EPS.
